That it was close to the city
The people upstairs walked around like elephants at 5am.

The closeness to where we had to conduct our buisness.
We were not impressed with the take-away meal that we ordered from the Thai restruant at Milton as one of the dishes could not be eaten because it tasted simply "FOUL".

The bed was surprisingly comfortable for such an old hotel.
The bathroom fixtures were outdated and not functioning properly.

The Staff, Staff and the Staff. The owner and the reception girls were very friendly and helpful. They allowed me to check in earlier and also did some shopping for me like shavin foam etc. very very helpful staff. Also the communal kitchen was a plus. I would consider staying there again
Honestly can't complain. Very helpful and cooperative staff ;-)

To be honest, I love to stay there, first of all there is arriving time was 2 pm. But because of my request they put me in at 8. am, they lookafter me because I was very tired and arrived in Brisbane at 6 am. Before my arriving my room and key was ready. And room was perfect for stay. 2Nd in that amount everything include, like WiFi unlimited, clean bathroom with soap and full of toilet rolls, comfortable bed, fridge and even in the room there were sink. I will suggest to my all friends and everybody who want to go to Brisbane stay in Brisbane Manor, so you can save your valuable money.

I loved the spacious room and the comfortable bed, although the pillows were a bit flat. The Wi-Fi worked well and was a real plus for my stay!

The directions to the Hotel by the staff and being able to get access to key after hours. When I had trouble opening the room door the Night Manager was very quick to assist.
The room and price were out of whack. It was a Backpackers marketed as a Hotel. If it was marketed correctly I would not have selected. The room was dingy and facilities basic at best. Beds were soft. Tv cable was blocking the door and was dangerous. Was definitely a young persons accommodation style I would not stay again.

I like the proximity to China Town and it is close to public transport.
I stayed at the Manor many times but I think the management has changed, when I left the doors to the carpark had not been opened and when I walked around with my luggage and left the front door open as I had to return to get the rest of my stuff an unpleasant person smoking a cigarette told me to close it, I already returned my keys and by closing it it would have prevented me to go back inside, this left a bitter taste in my mouth and I don`t think I will be back there again.
